each 8mins / 24 mins 7 channel videos
I took a 5 second video every 10 minutes from a fixed spot at Lake Michigan, Chicago. This project was also started before the sunrise and completed after the sunset over period of 4 weeks. During the shooting, the camera remained static. 7 screens represent 7 days in a week simultaneously and continue for 4 weeks. People may experience different moments in different days by walking around. Birds, people, lake, and the sky naturally appear and disappear throughout different passages of time and changing light. People on the screen come and go, while the viewer remains static.

It was created using a photography of the sky taken from the same location every five minutes for four weeks. I combined each days photographs in chronological order, making 28 separate daily videos. The resulting arrangement of 28 videos over 28 days offers a visual rhythm analogous to music.

I took photos of the sky every 10 minutes from the same spot with the same exposure setting. I started at 4:50 am (before sunrise) and finished at 8:40 pm (after sunset), continuing this process for 4 weeks. During the shooting, the camera remained static. With this collective data, I made a series of 28 books. Each book comprised photos taken in one day. Each cover is a different shade of gray derived from digital composites of all the photographs of the sky taken that day. By simply skimming and flipping through the moments/ the photos/ the pages of the books, people are urged to contemplate the ongoing rhythm in our daily lives instead of dwelling on just one moment or photo.

For one month between 12am and 12pm, I take photographs of a sheet of white paper every 5 minutes. The collection of photographs, made use of only one white paper, assembled to form a circular shape divided by light and dark.

Standing in the same place each time, and using the same settings, I used a digital camera to take pictures of my face every 30 minutes over 24 hours. Each line, marking my evolving existence, changes color and intensity in the changing light.
